Every Child Every Day
Re-writing the life stories of children all over the globe...
and you can play a part in it !
The Every Child Every Day project is Global Feed the Hungry’s commitment to feed vulnerable children on a daily basis through partnerships with Orphanages, Schools, and Childcare Ministries around the world.
WE FEED CHILDREN WHO ARE:
- Children who have been orphaned by war and disease.
- Children from unimaginably poor families.
- Children torn from their homes and turned into refugees by natural and man-made tragedies.
- Children who, without the care and protection of these orphanages, would be desperately needy and terribly hungry.
Today 25,244 children are receiving a hot, nutritious meal because of your support.
For HK$50 we can bring a child into the program; your gift of HK$250 means that 5 more children will have the peace of mind, day after day, that they won’t go hungry or worry where the next meal will come from.

A word from Peter Sumrall who founded this Program
"The idea for Every Child Every Day came to us in 2005, with a goal to feed 1000 children each day for 12 months. Now we are reaching towards a goal of connecting with 100,000 children on a daily basis. As caring people open their hearts and give towards this cause, we can reach that goal and literally see a generation of children receive the help and hope they need to grow up strong in spirit, mind, and body." explains Peter Sumrall. "As God's people, together we can feed every child, every day. They are our great legacy - our thrilling future."
India - because of your love and support
Through Mercy and Grace who is our ministry partner in India that helps us to reach out to more than 1,000 children in India to receive a hot meal every single day because of friends like you.
We were introduced to Charan -- his father long dead; his mother, grandmother, and aunt shuttled him back and forth depending on who could scrounge up enough food to keep him alive. When Feed the Hungry began commit to feed the children in Charan's village, many children like Charan’s world stabilized. Today Charan is healthy and growing-- learning, reading, and worshipping the God who loves him so.
Please join in putting food on the table for these children, fee hungry children in Indian.
Testimonies
The Every Child Every Day project is an opportunity to make a generational impact as we work with well-established ministries in Central America, Africa, and Asia -- because God's word will be taught and demonstrated before their very eyes. These children will see the love of God in word and in deeds.
By taking over the burden of the daily food requirements, your support allows our partners to improve the quality of life for the children under their care, and increase the intake of abandoned children.
food budget for the children... I could hardly believe my ears. This has been our biggest challenge in the 12 years we have been ministering to the children in Thailand. We feed them one hot meal per day, and for many this is the only decent meal they get each day. More than 500 children are under our care: orphans, AIDS orphans, refugees, desperately poor families and so on. Our constraining factor has always been the funds to feed the children. If we have the natural food it will give us the opportunity to provide the children with an education to give them a secure future.

Steve Lazar from Mozambique shares this one testimony:
Meet Lija, a 5yr old little girl who weighed 10kg when she came to us. Her mother having died from AIDS and her father long gone, she was suffering from malnutrition, AIDS, untreated TB, and a chest infection. She was a very sad and sick little girl when we accepted her into our dormitory. She was scared of the other children and extremely fragile.
During the last month she has put on almost 2kg, her chest infection has healed, and she has been on TB medication for three weeks, but the most exciting thing to see is her changed demeanor.
She is like a little ray of sunshine, happy, jovial, responsive, and she loves to play. The change in one month is so marked. It magnifies the fact that these children really just need the love of God, a sense of belonging, good food, and medical intervention - that's what we are about.
