Our ground partner, ABC is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving under-privileged children by placing them into foster homes and providing them with quality education opportunities. The story began in 2005, the founders made a trip to Northeastern China and came across a few children who had been abandoned by their parents. After spending some time with these children, and witnessing the difficulties they were facing, the founders decided to take these children under their care, and looked for loving foster parents willing to care for these children as their own. The test pilot scheme worked so well that this first home would become a model for other foster homes. Placement of children in institutionalized home would create a lot of problems in the future balance growth of a child.

ABC found foster home placement is a life changing experience for these orphans, orphans face significant challenges without love and support of a family. In a home such as this one we support, orphans can now experience love at firsthand, a family of brothers, sisters and parents, to prepare them for higher education opportunities to alleviate them out of future poverty. They are given a chance for a better future.
