Mienyang and Biechuan Update

Today, we see the many wrecked cities in Sichuan are rebuilt since the Great Earthquake in 2008. At first we found children slept in streets or in make shift tents with their grandparents, soon the regional government began building houses for them. Feed the Hungry gave them meals and daily necessities at first but soon realized that giving to children only keep them full but to get them out of poverty and have a hope, they need quality education and to know Jesus. Together with our partners, Children’s Hope Foundation and Sister Priscilla Chiu, we support as many many left-behind or orphaned children in Sichuan as we could find sponsors to help. We need your commitment of giving to help a needy child to have a chance to be educated, to have good influence, able to see a future for themselves and work on it.
